Doug Gray, the MTB lead singer collected in the band's archives a live recording yet never heard and that will have a particular importance for all the MTB -and Southern Rock in general- lovers. This gig was recorded on the occasion of the introducing of the MTB to the South Carolina Hall of Fame the 19/05/1995. It includes all the standards of the band with as guests Charlie Daniels, Jimmy Hall, Butch Trucks, Jaimoe and Firefall. The sound quality and the musicians' mastery are so present all along the concert that I listened to this Marshall Tucker Band "Live" with a real emotion. All the MTB classic songs are gathered, sumptuous «  Long Hard Ride  » with a Charlie Daniels (fiddle) in complete harmony with the band, «  Desert Skies  » from the album Carolina Dreams, and we go on with the MTB standards that are «  Fire On The Mountain  » and «  Searchin’ For a Rainbow  ». We can barely have the time to breathe that the highpoint of this CD arrives with a memorable «  24 Hours At A Time  » followed by a «  Can’t You See  » magnificently sung by Doug Gray. We have to notice the presence of Paul Riddle, Jerry Eubanks, and George Mc Corkle, who left the band shortly after. SPLENDID.
