One of their guitarists, Scott Maddux, sells Harley Davidson motorbikes in Maryville. He plays the guitar with David Glover and Mike Mc Gill that also sings. Congratulations to Roger Schmidt with his Hammond B3 organ that joins all the musicians. This cd has nine songs produced by Kentucky Headhunters'Richard Young. "Night like this" opens the album, a heavy kind of Rock n' Roll. Cathouse Prophets are close to the Charlie Daniels Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd, just as it can be heard on "Baby Back" and "American Ride". After "Little Man" arrives the country ballad "Forever Mine", just before a strong "Up All Night" close to the Dixie Tabernacle. "T.T.T", "Devil's Deal", "Freight Shaker"are some good Southern Rock stuff close to the Flynnville Train or the Georgian Blackberry Smoke and Charlie Starr. So, you have understood, here we get a really serious band, they are no clowns! Jacques Dersigny |
