This band Blackberry Smoke is surprising : as they already realised a good Southern album “Bad Luck Ain’t No Crime”, they offer us today six country songs ! However these are six great songs, but such a change can be surprising. However… We are far away from songs such as “Sanctified” or “Angeline”, but we enjoy to listen to this band different style, band that will be present with Skynyrd, .38 Special, Molly Hatchet and Marshall Tucker at the Simple Man Cruise in January 2009. Let’s bet that for the occasion, they sure will add some Rock n’ Roll to their Country music. However, on “Son Of The Bourbon” or “Lesson In A Bottle”, we can be sure that Blackberry Smoke can be a great band : they just need a little bit of luck at the right moment, and they sure can go up to the top. We also know that nothing is ever done or written !
