We discovered this band quite recently and it seemed to us we had to talk a bit about them even if we're a bit late. Being from Spring Hill, Florida, Frank Pilgrim moved to Nashville where his outlaw style seems to be perfect for this area. We were expecting guitar riffs ala Mooly Hatchet or Blackfoot, but that's not the kind of music Frank does. He's more in the southern rock music mixed with country influences. As he often says, Ronnie VanZant's main influence was Merle Haggard, and Ronnie and Merle are Frank's main influences. This album will certainly be appreciated by the southen rock community with sngs such as "Johnny's on the Delta" or "Shake your puddin'", but also by the country fans with songs such as "Southern thing", "Next to you" and the beautiful "Américan dream", dedicated to all the war veterans in the world.
