Everybody knows the Atlanta Rhythm Section, but a few of us know the Capricorn Rhythm Section that was created when Phil Walden, the missing Capricorn Records boss, was alive, and present the fabulous musicians Scott Boyer ( guitar ) Tommy Dalton ( Guitar ) Paul Hornsby ( Piano ) Johnny Sandlin ( Bass-guitar ) et Bill Stewart ( Drums ) ! These musicians have played with many famous music legends, such as the Allman Brothers, the Marshall Tucker Band, Eric Clapton, Charlie Daniels, Elvin Bishop, etc… We've heard that Scott Boyer played with "One Percent" that became later the famous Lynyrd Skynyrd. All this to say that here are not young fresh musicians and we can have some respect for that album of the Capricorn Rhythm Section.
Recorded an evening in Alabama last year, this wonderful Southern Blues Rock CD will sure be enjoyed by the Allman's fans and every Southern music fan. Great interpretations, beautiful sound and production and a heavy feeling. We do appreciate this album !
