The last time we heard Little Feat's music played acoustically, it was its two guitars players who united and released the great album "Live from North Cafe" (Relix Records). This time, they're back on the track, but with the whole band. An other way to discover Little Feat's music. Of course, some ones will miss the typical tonality of the two Stratocasters, but the acoustic side of this album brings some intimity which is more than enjoyable. And what can I say of the great great keyboards lines by the one and only Mr Bill Payne himself ? Some pretty new to us is the presence of the vocalist Shawn Murphy. She's just got an incredible voice ! If you don't know her, you should know she's been working with Bob Seger and she's been touring with Eric Clapton in the mid-80's. Her voice reminds me a bit of Susan Tedeschi or even Dale Krantz sometimes. Just listen to the songs "Cadillac Hotel" and "On your way down", and you know what I mean. Finally, I'ld say this album is a must have.

Little Feat is coming out with a new live album from a '73 concert, which was well known by bottlegs collectors (but here, the sound quality is much better !). Another point is to re-discover the great late Lowell Goerge, disappeared many years ago.
This is the first live album released by Little Feat. A powerful "Apolotical Blues" is opening the album, followed by the great "Dixie Chicken", "Willin'", "Cold, cold, cold" among others.
A nice way to discover the legendary Little Feat, if not yet…
