So, we don't know too much about this band, Medicine Hat, we just can say that the music they offer us is a real high quality music, with a great southern influence. After a trip in the South Dakota Indian territories, Mark Jackson and Steven Loveday (a British guy) are really in a southern way of life, even if the way they play is still different from other southern bands. We can say they play "country hard" music, with a great guitar sound on the songs beginnings, and other instruments explosion just after, giving a hard rock feeling to most of the songs. Mark Jackson has a special and particular voice, giving Medicine Hat a special atmosphere. Best songs are "C'mon Here", "Indian Rose", "Blue Skies" on the Bone Dry album, and "I Still Bleed", "Country Boy" and the heavy "Sweet Home Alabama" cover on the live album. A group to better know !!
