There are so many tirbute albums to Lynyrd Skynyrd we could believe the southern boys from Jacksonville only get friends in the music business. Of course, that ain't that easy. There was a time when it was a good thing to criticize the Ronnie's band, saying they were a racist band, bad musicians and many more. But today, they are seen the opposite side, many people love then.....it surely has something to do with the economical aspect of the band. Some tributes albums are not really great albums, but this "steel guitar tribute" is a masterpiece. Most of the musicians involved in this album were the ones playing on the famous "Pickin on Lynyrd Skynyrd" released in '98. Great interpretation, great sound, this album will surely enjoyed by Lynyrd Skynyrd and southern rock fans John Molet |
